The following images are a sample of the evidence, with provenance, embedded within the CI Spy App and located throughout the Christiansburg Institute Campus grounds. Evidene was located within two remaining structures, the Edgar A. Long Building, and the former Gymnasium, plus one virtual building, the original Trades Building, once located on the site of the current local business near the instersection of Scattergood Drive and Route 460. Fifth graders explored the remaining grounds of the campus, using mobile augmented reality to find, access, and analyze these sources as they built their own evidence-based account of what this now forgotten landscape once was, and what life was like for those who were here.
